Effective May 1, 2011 Dr. Hopp will be perfoming majority of his cataract surgery at the Kamloops Surgical centre www.kamloopssurgery.com located at 200-741 Sahali Terrace.  Our cataract wait list is approximately 6-7 months.  Our surgical booking technician keeps a list of patients that would like to have their surgery done sooner, so if you would like to be on that “cancellation list”, please call our office or email surgerybookings@interiorretina.com to have your name added to that list and she will call you when someone cancels.  From time to time we are offered extra surgery days above and beyond our regular Wednesdays.  If this happens, the patients on the cancellation list will be notified first as it is usually short notice.
For patients that are requiring Retinal surgery they will still take place at the Royal Inland Hospital, generally on a Thursday.  The wait list for retinal surgery depends on the diagnosis.
